well if your asking me who i think is beautiful i would have to say absolutely every girl in my year. i think everyone is beautiful. but i would never wish the modelling profession on anybody. it is so cruel and anyone who calls themselves a ‘model’ is perpetuating the idea that there is a conventional standard for beauty, and making so many young girls feel inadequate or worse 'average’ because they don’t meet this standard. i think this is so so sad because it ruins self esteem and makes girls constantly compare themselves to others and look for validation from others by constantly fishing for likes or getting people to call them 'beautiful’ all the time, rather than being confident and independent. so yes i think there are a lot of girls in my year who are conventionally pretty enough to be a model, but who the fuck wants to be responsible for ruining the next generation of young girls perceptions of themselves? i know i don’t.

I feel really sad for people who don’t let themselves have cereal late at night, go on ice cream runs with friends, pizza at sleepovers, or eat things like oil and salt. Living spontaneously and enjoying food are such fun parts of life, and some of my favourite memories.
If you’re restricting yourself or letting some toxic mindset control you, please, work to set yourself free. Life is too short not to eat muesli at 10pm or your body weight in peanut butter.
Some people want to be healthy so their life won’t be as short as yours.
Healthy is not the hundreds of messages I get every day from girls saying they don’t let themselves eat at sleepovers or won’t eat carbs after 5pm because they are scared of losing their thigh gap, or that “only fat girls get their period”.
Healthy is not to deprive yourself of nourishment to the point where your mind and body suffer irreversible long term damage.
Healthy is not all the responses I got to this saying they’d rather stick to their 500 calories a day because they’d feel anxious and bad eating more.
Healthy is not being scared to eat anything other than vegetables because their favourite youtubers don’t eat any oil, salt or fat.
My life is going to be incredibly long and healthy, both physically and mentally - occasionally eating some vegan ice cream or cereal is not going to stop that. Starvation, or toxic mentality and relationship with food on the other hand, is far more damaging.
